No. Rilavek uses zero-knowledge direct streaming. Files are processed in-memory and written directly to your configured S3 bucket. We store zero file content on our infrastructure.
We support Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, MinIO, and any S3-compatible object storage provider.
Yes. On custom and pro setups, you can point your own domain or subdomains (such as sftp.yourcompany.com) to your Rilavek ingress endpoints.
Bandwidth is simply the total gigabytes sent to your storage, while file limits track how many individual files you upload. If you send one file to two destinations at once, it uses data for both copies, but still counts as just one file upload. Best of all, failed or canceled transfers never count against your quota.
Overage is strictly opt-in to eliminate surprise bills. If you keep overage turned off, new transfers simply pause once you hit your monthly allowance. When you enable overage, additional usage is billed in simple units ($0.02 on Starter, $0.015 on Pro). Each unit covers an extra 1GB of data transfer or 1,000 files.
For TUS protocols, uploads automatically resume from the last byte. For FTP and SFTP, our retry logic and partial-chunk handling ensure minimal data loss and clean error reporting via webhooks.
